The KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique continues its development and is preparing to write a new chapter in its history. After two initial editions organized at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, in 2017 and 2019, then six editions hosted at the Circuit Paul Ricard from 2021 to 2026, the event will, for the first time, take place at the Circuit Dijon-Prenois.

From April 23rd to 25th, 2027, this iconic venue of French motorsport will host the historic grids of the KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique. This change of venue reflects the desire to bring the event to life on the most emblematic circuits that have marked the history of motorsport.
Inaugurated in 1972, the Dijon-Prenois Circuit hosted its first Formula 1 French Grand Prix in 1974 and quickly became the scene of legendary races. Drivers such as Ronnie Peterson, Alain Prost, and Niki Lauda wrote some of the sport's most glorious chapters there, as did the mythical duel between Arnoux and Villeneuve at the 1979 French Grand Prix, considered one of the most memorable clashes in Formula 1 history. On May 20, 1984, Dijon-Prenois hosted its last Formula 1 French Grand Prix, won by Niki Lauda at the wheel of his McLaren-TAG Porsche. More than forty years after this final race, the circuit is preparing to recapture the spirit of motorsport's golden age.
Laurent Vallery-Masson , Creator and Organizer of the event :
“After reviving the greatest moments in Formula 1 history at Magny-Cours and then at Circuit Paul Ricard, it seemed only natural to open a new chapter on a circuit as iconic as Dijon-Prenois. Its history, its character, and the memories it evokes make it the perfect setting for the KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique. We will offer enthusiasts the opportunity to see the single-seaters, prototypes, and GT cars that defined their era in action on this track. More than just an event, our ambition is to keep the heritage of motorsport alive and to pass on to new generations the emotion and magic of the golden age of competition.”
